I'm 27

Today is my birthday.  I'm the same age as my mom when she had me.

Growing up, our home was full.  Crafts were made, music was played, sports were attempted - softball, tennis, soccer, basketball, swimming, track, ice skating, dance, even twirling! And though many interests were short-lived, my parents never pressured me or rolled their eyes at my ever-changing mind.

Today I recognize how lucky I am to have parents who always made me feel loved, met every need, always supported me - both emotionally and financially, let me be independent and move out when I was 17 years old, go to college and major in Film and Media Arts (never made me think to look back and doubt myself) helped me move cross country to Los Angeles, supported my marriage to Jeff (paid for the entire shindig), and now as an adult, is there for me in a whole different way but always loving and always supportive.

I just wanted to point out that I don't take this for granted and I know how stinkin' lucky I am.
